Prepare what the camera actually sees
Before the appointment, we discuss counters, floors, windows, lighting, pets, and personal items. Small preparation tasks can make room proportions and useful features easier to see. Finish the work that would otherwise interrupt the photographer or appear incomplete in the pictures.
Show the layout, not just the finishes
I identify features worth documenting: connected living spaces, useful storage, garage access, outdoor areas, and any layout detail that buyers may misunderstand. The photographer handles the technical work. I keep the listing’s information needs in view.
Photos should represent the property as offered. They should not suggest a room, view, or improvement that is not there.
Fit photography into the listing plan
