Set a budget before setting appointments
A lender can explain what you qualify for. You still need a payment that leaves room for your other expenses. Ask about taxes, insurance, any association dues, closing costs, and the money you want to keep available for repairs.
I help translate that budget into a search. There is no reason to tour homes that would leave you stretched after closing.
Learn what to look for on a showing
We compare room sizes, storage, parking, the route from the garage to the kitchen, and visible maintenance needs. Ask every question you have. I would rather explain something twice than have you feel rushed into an offer.
An inspection is a separate step. A showing gives us a first look, not a professional assessment of hidden conditions.
Understand each decision after the offer
I explain the transaction schedule and help you coordinate inspections, review the seller’s response to repair requests, and prepare for the final walkthrough. Your lender and title team explain their documents and costs. I keep the property-related questions and deadlines in view.
