Review the total cost and the paperwork
Ask for the included features, additional charges, deposit terms, estimated completion, and any offered concessions in writing. I discuss the real estate questions and coordinate information requests. A qualified attorney should review legal questions in builder or lease documents.
Treat leasing as a separate comparison
If you want to ask about a new-build lease, we need to confirm that such an option exists for the property and review the proposed occupancy, fees, maintenance responsibilities, and term with the appropriate parties. Do not assume a home offered for sale can also be leased.
For a purchase, we plan the remaining inspections, walkthroughs, and closing steps around the actual property.
